Dr. Canizares - All Florida Orthopedic

He received his Doctorate of Medicine degree from the University of South Florida College of Medicine in Tampa, FL.  Dr. Canizares served his residency in Orthopaedic Surgery at Wayne State University School of Medicine in Detroit, MI.

He completed a fellowship in Sports Medicine at South Florida Orthopaedic Institute in Coral Gables, FL.

Dr. Canizares was selected to the NFL Neutral Physician Examiners Panel and served as the team doctor for the Miami Heat and Miami Sol.

Dr. Canizares was instrumental in the development of the sports medicine program at All Florida Orthopaedic Associates and several Pinellas County high schools and colleges. He has also traveled with several professional sports teams as the team physician.

Dr. Bolhofner is board certified in Orthopaedic Surgery and Trauma

Areas of trauma related interests include fractures of the pelvis and acetabulum, articular and periarticular fractures, non-union, malunion, deformity, bone loss, infection and limb length discrepancy. Additional areas of professional interest include adult arthritis and reconstructive surgery and joint preserving surgery of the hip. Specifically, this includes primary and revision joint replacement, hip dysplasia, femoral/acetabular hip impingement and arthroscopic surgery of the hip.

Dr. Bolhofner received his Doctorate of Medicine degree and served his residency in Orthopaedic Surgery from the University of South Florida College of Medicine in Tampa, FL.

He is fellowship-trained in Orthopaedic Trauma from the Association for the Study of Internal Fixation in Bern, Switzerland.

Dr. Bolhofner served as the Director of Orthopaedic Trauma Services at Bayfront Medcal Center from 1986-2016.  Dr Bolhofner has remained dedicated to the orthopaedic surgical care of the severely injured throughout his career.

Dr. Brian D Burke

Meet Dr. Burke

Brian D. Burke, MD, is board certified by the American Board of Orthopaedic Surgery and brings nearly two decades of level 2 trauma training and orthopedic surgery experience to b2orthopedics.

Dr. Burke earned his M.D. in his childhood home state at West Virginia University. He completed his orthopedic residency at the University of Florida, which boasts one of the top orthopedic programs in the country (as well as Dr. Burke’s favorite NCAA football team).

As the Director of Joint Replacement for Bayfront Medical Center, Dr. Burke spearheaded the hospital’s accreditation as a Joint Center of Excellence in 2010. He is a frequent lecturer in the community sharing his knowledge and expertise on the latest advances in his field, including direct anterior approach for total hip replacement, and nonsurgical PRP and Stem Cell injection therapies. As gene therapy and stem cell regeneration technologies evolve, Dr. Burke is fully equipped to offer his patients state-of-the-art treatments for orthopedic conditions that traditionally would have required surgery.
